A senior consultant, an art director and an analyst. In one chat.

No templates to fill in: a conversation, and a layout engine that applies real design rules.

You brief, it structures

Describe the client context in a few words. decko clarifies audience and goal, proposes an outline, then generates slide by slide, before your eyes.

Sourced research

Fresh numbers, benchmarks, cited sources: decko searches the web and puts the data straight into the slides.

Consulting-grade design

Palette, typography, layout: every deck gets its own visual identity, never the same one twice.

A real .pptx

Editable text, real charts, tables, animations: your client gets a native PowerPoint, not a frozen image.

From idea to deck, sent

Three steps, without leaving the conversation.

Brief your need

A topic, a client file, an old deck to reinvent, or just one sentence.

Approve the outline

decko proposes a slide-by-slide structure. Reorder, edit, delete, then generate.

Refine and send

Ask for changes in the chat, polish in the editor, present or export as .pptx.

They build their decks with decko

Feedback from early users, in their own words.

“I was skeptical about the chat thing, I've used AI tools where talking to it is slower than just doing it yourself. Here it's the opposite. I clicked a slide, typed "too dense, split it and make the chart the point", and it did exactly that. I barely touch the mouse anymore.”

“Steering committee deck for a client, normally my whole Sunday evening. I had a first full version in 20 minutes and spent maybe an hour adjusting. The deck went to the client as is. I'm not saying it does the thinking for you, but the layout drudgery is just gone.”
Davidfractional COO
“The test for me was simple: does the pptx open clean in PowerPoint on the client's laptop. It did. Real text, real shapes, editable charts, my colors. Every other tool I tried failed exactly there.”
Sarahex BCG, solo practice
“What sold me is that it's still a real editor underneath. When the AI gets a slide 90 percent right I just click the box and fix the last 10 percent myself, like in PowerPoint. Every other AI tool locks you into its blocks the moment you want to touch something.”
Thomastransformation consultant
“I'd written off AI deck tools after Gamma. Great first draft, then a wall the second you want to change anything. This one lets me iterate, which is 90 percent of the actual job. It's early and some slide types come out stronger than others, but it's the first one built by someone who clearly makes decks for clients.”

Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask before creating their first deck.

Is the exported file a real PowerPoint?

Yes. You get a native .pptx: editable text, real charts and tables, animations. It opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote, and your client can edit it.

What does the free plan include?

One full deck, with research and images included, plus PowerPoint export. No credit card required. Pro unlocks unlimited decks, edits and research.

Can I start from my existing documents?

Yes. Attach an old deck, notes, data or images: decko uses them as the brief and builds the presentation from your material.

Where do the numbers come from?

decko searches the web and cites its sources right in the slides. You stay in control: check and adjust before sending.

Can I edit the result?

Yes, at three levels: ask for changes in the chat, fine-tune in the built-in editor, or edit the exported .pptx like any PowerPoint.

Which languages does decko work in?

The interface is available in English and French, and you can brief decko in the language of your choice — the deck follows your brief.

Who's behind decko?

Not a big company. Just a developer who got tired of laying out slides.

Alexis, the founder of decko, trail running across a mountain riverbed

I'm Alexis. I'm a developer living in Annecy, in the French Alps, between the lake and the mountains. When I'm not out on a trail, I build products from my computer.

I built decko because spending whole evenings nudging boxes around slides felt absurd, when what really matters is the story you tell. I use it every day, and I read every message sent to support. If something gets in your way, write to me: I'm the one who answers.
